Matt Bise
Matt Bise, host of Port City Live, comes to WLCN after spending nearly 10 years in the Charleston television market. He has spent time covering a wide range of topics as both a producer and reporter. During his time in the Charleston area he has won several Associated Press and RTNDA awards. Most recently, as a producer, Matt was awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award for best news documentary. That's in the past he says, now Matt wants people to see his other talents, such as: making flatulent sounds by placing the palm of his hand over his eye-socket or juggling ,no more, than three tennis balls. Matt's new news philosophy is stated as follows-- Sometimes mindless drivel is not that bad. Matt is a native of West Virginia and enjoys running, fishing, sports and spending too much time staring at the oscillating agitator in the washing machine (come on, we all do it).
