AP Source: Michael Jackson’s Death Ruled Homicide

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles County coroner's finding that the death of Michael Jackson was a homicide could mean criminal charges for his personal physician.

Dr. Conrad Murray told investigators he'd administered a mix of powerful drugs to treat the pop star's insomnia hours before his death.

A law enforcement official says forensic tests found the anesthetic propofol combined with at least two sedatives killed Jackson.

Through his lawyer, Murray has said he administered nothing that "should have" killed Jackson.

Murray told investigators that he had been trying to wean the singer off propofol because he feared he was becoming addicted to it.

The coroner's finding does not necessarily mean a crime was committed.

Jackson died June 25 in Los Angeles.
