MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. — Just in time for Independence Day, a U.S. flag that bikers are carrying across America arrives on the South Carolina coast.
The flag arrives at the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum in Mount Pleasant on Friday.
The flag is being carried by bikers on Harley-Davidsons from coast to coast in an event that began on Memorial Day and continues through Labor Day.
A procession of bikers escorts the flag across Charleston to Patriots Point, the home of the aircraft carrier Yorktown.
At Patriots Point, Medal of Honor recipient Gen. James Livingston will speak about what the flag means to him and other veterans.
